Using the Hold Sale Feature in Nexchar POS

The Hold Sale feature in Nexchar POS allows you to temporarily pause an ongoing sale and resume it at a later time. This is particularly helpful in situations where customers may need a moment before completing a purchase or when prioritizing other sales in a busy environment. This article will guide you through enabling, using, and resuming held sales in Nexchar POS.

Additional Notes

  • Receipt Printing: Held sales do not trigger receipt printing by default. Receipts will only print when a sale is completed after resumption, ensuring that temporary holds do not result in extra receipts.
  • User Permissions: Ensure that the Hold Sale option is enabled in General Settings. If disabled, the Hold Sale button and related functionality will not appear on the sales screen.
